Outback Village
For Boys Ages 13-16
Outback Village Program Philosophy
Outback Village is open to boys ages 13-16. Without the pull of technology, Outbackers live simply allowing for focus on the important things in life. With their peers and the guidance of strong counselors, Outback is a close community that strives to give all young men a chance to build self-esteem and gain independence. The village allows campers to try all that camp has to offer from paddle-boarding, high ropes, sailing and taking part in special Outback traditions. Forging new interests, positive relationships, and self-reliance, Outback Village is more than the activities, but a home away from home. Outback Village is a place where young men reflect on personal goals and make friendships that will stay with them into adulthood.
Cabin/Village Arrangements
Outback campers sleep in rustic cabins that are located close to restroom and shower facilities.
Meals and Nutrition
Outback campers eat their meals in Malachi Dining Hall. Balanced meals are planned in collaboration with the director of dining services, and allergy and special dietary needs are accommodated.
