Financial Assistance

 

 

 

YMCA Storer Camps desires to make camp available for all. While a fair share of payment is expected, we understand that many families may be challenged with limited resources that make camp out of reach for their children. YMCA Storer Camps has donors with hearts for families like yours. Our alumni, friends, and foundations give through the YMCA Annual Campaign to make financial assistance available. Pending eligibility, financial assistance is available to support a portion of the camp fees. The amount offered is based on family size, gross income, family circumstances and available funding.  We are able to offer financial assistance for one-week programs; special considerations will be made for two-week programs.

 

There are two options to begin the Financial Assistance application process:

  1. Register through CampMinder (preferred).  You can ensure your camper's place is held in a session by registering through CampMinder.  When completing the camper application, you will select the option "I am applying for Financial Assistance" and complete the registration.  A $25 deposit fee is required at time of registration which will be applied towards your camper's balance.  Once registration is completed, you will be contacted by a YMCA Storer Camps staff member to complete the Financial Assistance application process.

    If your camper attended YMCA Storer Camps in Summer 2020 or 2021, select "RETURNING FAMILIES REGISTRATION" below.  For all other campers, select "NEW FAMILIES REGISTRATION."

     

          

  2. Fill out a paper copy of the Financial Assistance application.  Doing this does not guarantee that there will be available space in your camper's desired session.  Upon submission of the application, a YMCA Storer Camps staff member will be be in contact with you regarding your Financial Assistance eligibility and program availability.  Paper copies can be downloaded by clicking here.

Enter all of your camper's information and search for their preferred session.  If there is a notification of "(0 spaces remaining)" with your selected session, there is a wait list for that program.  Otherwise, there are open spaces for that program.
